Crieff is the perfect base for golfers. It has a beautiful course of its own and it is only a short drive from Gleneagles and Rosemount.

The three courses at Gleneagles are all World class and the PGA centenary course will be the venue for the 2014 Ryder Cup.

The Rosemount Course in Blairgowrie is also well known and is ranked in Scotland's top ten courses.

There are also courses at Auchterarder, Pitlochry, Dunblane and Callander which are in superb condition and would be a test for any golfer and a bit easier on the wallet.

St Andrews and the many Fife links are an hour at most from Crieff for those who want to mix the beauty of the Perthshire courses, with some traditional links golf.
