Breakfast at Galvelbeg House

A Perthshire Breakfast makes the most of this natural bounty and consists of at least 50% of locally sourced, seasonal produce – a delicious and memorable start to your day.

As well as the usual range of toast, home-made jams & preserves (even Marmite!) we offer a good selection of cereals and home-made granola along with fruit, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt & fruit juices.

For a more substantial breakfast why not try one of our hot options?  We would appreciate if guests could choose what they would like the night before so that we have minimal wastage and your breakfast can be freshly cooked for you in the morning.

Travel around Perthshire and you’ll soon notice that it is a favoured place. It's lush fields edged by woods, it's straths, rivers and upland grazing all create a sense of well-being in the landscape.  Proof of this is in the sheer variety of quality produce that originates here.
From outstanding raspberries and mouth-watering soft fruit to fresh free range eggs and honey from hills and blossom. From top quality beef, lamb and game to wild boar, succulent venison and an array of vegetables – Perthshire is unbeatable.

Galvelbeg House is delighted to serve a Perthshire Breakfast.  We source all of our meat products from David Comrie & Son, a family run butchers in the village of Comrie and our fresh eggs come straight from our own chickens in the back garden!  When we are busy then we get extra free range eggs direct from Gloagburn Farmshop and Café.

During your holiday you’ll find plenty of other opportunities to sample local produce in hotels and restaurants as well as from farmers’ markets and our thriving network of farm shops and delicatessens. Relax and take your time as you travel around, savouring the many delicious flavours and the beautiful Perthshire countryside.
