About
Crieff
Crieff
is very central and has something for everyone. Golf, fishing,
walking, hunting, water sports or just sight seeing, you will
not have to go far to find what you are looking for.
The
town centre of Crieff is only a few minutes walk and has
an interesting selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.
Within
Crieff itself there are eight walks that form part of an extensive
paths network for walkers, cyclists and horse riders.
Crieff
is the perfect base for golfers and has a beautiful course
of its own. It is also only a short drive from Gleneagles
and Rosemount.
Crieff
also has its own Highland Games with Sports, Highland Dancing,
Pipe Bands and Fun Fair which takes place on the third Sunday
in August every year.
Crieff
also has its own Drovers Tryst Walking Festival which takes
place annually in October. See www.droverstryst.co.uk
for more details.
